Ascent provides a fun, safe and unique atmosphere for customers regardless of their age or ability. With 140 trampolines, Café Areas, Ascent offers a fresh take on what to expect from a trampoline park, offering great value for money and a wide variety of features and fun-filled activities. Our most innovative focus point is the way we try to provide a fun and memorable experience for all ages. We host many sessions and classes to give everyone a chance to partake in an experience like no other. We have tried to keep up with times and keeping it fresh and exciting for our customers. Since the business started up in 2016, we have made three significant investments by adding three brand new features to the park. First being a 3.6m Climbing Wall, a Total-Wipeout Style inflatable and most recently and certainly the most unique, the Indoor Caving System – The only one in Lancashire and surrounding areas.
Ascent will be running monthly events exclusively for children with learning difficulties, disabilities or special needs and also vulnerable adults. Trampolining has been shown to help with a wide range of sensory, developmental and physical disabilities. We will have a quiet room available, sensory toys and reduced sounds and lighting to fully accommodate the attendees. There will be level access and carers accompanying are welcome completely free of charge and Siblings are more than welcome to attend too! Ascent will have a Social Story that will be emailed out to the customers prior to the event to help assist them before they visit. There’s no need to watch the safety briefing video as members of staff will provide a spoken brief before they use the equipment. There are changing facilities on-site and a vibrant café offering refreshments throughout their visit.

ACCESSIBLE OPEN DAY – Saturday 16th March 10am – 4pm
Blackpool Transport are holding an Accessible Open Day at their Starr Gate Tram Depot. On the day, the event will:
Provide an ‘all access’ opportunity for attendees to gain further understanding about Blackpool Transport’s commitment to ensure transport is accessible for all.
Importantly, the event will provide the opportunity to board both a tram and a bus in a safe, unpressured environment. This is a perfect opportunity for those who require additional support or assurance that they are able to travel by public transport.
You’ll be able to ask our Disability Awareness trained members of staff any questions you may have about travelling by bus or tram.
On the day you will also have the opportunity to see back of house areas and understand how a modern tram depot operates, as well as hourly trips through the tram wash! (Like a car wash, but for trams!).

Clip ‘n Climb Blackpool
Our venue offers an all-weather safe space where adults and children can enjoy some healthy, action packed fun!
20 individual and multi climber wall challenges of varying design and difficulty, testing agility and courage in different ways. We also have 2 special attractions – the infamous Vertical Drop Slide and the Stairway to Heaven.
No Climbing experience is required, we provide the equipment and our staff clip climbers onto all the walls using our automatic belay devices. They are designed to gently lower you to the ground when you let go of the wall. Our trained staff can also adapt all our climbing walls to assist any climbers that may struggle climbing by themselves using our assisted climbing lines.

Watching on as they interact with their keepers is an enthralling sight so be sure to take a note of each animals feeding times in order not to miss out.
